OUR ORGANIC PROJECT

We are working with over 2000 farmers in Meru and Tharaka Nithi counties whom we have contracted to produce organic macadamia. Farmers undergo intensive trainings on the authentic methods to carry out organic macadamia nuts farming. Currently our capacity to offtake organic nuts from the farmers we have enrolled in this project stands at 3000 Metric tonnes.

Our farmers and facilities have been fully certified organic in accordance with JAS, NOP , EU834/207 and  (EU) 2018/848 standards.

Macadamia Seedlings

We produce high-quality organic macadamia seedlings that are grafted to ensure strong growth, early maturity, and high nut yield.

Our seedlings are grown organically, without the use of synthetic fertilizers or harmful chemicals, ensuring they are healthy, environmentally friendly, and suitable for organic certification.

We produce the following grafted macadamia varieties  ;

  • Murang’a 20
  •  Kiambu 3
  •  Embu 1

By grafting selected scions from proven macadamia varieties onto vigorous, disease-resistant rootstocks, we guarantee uniformity and enhanced performance in the field.

With our grafted organic macadamia seedlings, farmers can expect improved resistance to pests, better adaptation to local conditions, and long-term productivity for sustainable farming.
