Position Title: Digital Business Intelligence (DBI) Intern

About Us: Batian Nuts is a dynamic and innovative agri-business company specializing in processing of nuts supplied by Small Holder Farmers. We’re seeking a motivated and creative Digital Business Intelligence Intern to join our team and contribute to exciting projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help in creating and maintaining documentation including requirements, design and user manual of Business Intelligence process
- Collaborate with organisation’s team and external partners to design digital surveys for data collection in the field and/within the organisation
- Participate in the trainings on use of mobile digital tools and information gathering within the organisation
- Help in monitoring and control of the quality of data collected which includes flagging out any anomality’s in the data
- Participate in training sessions on data analysis, commercial monitoring dashboards and different information insights reports
- Escalate technical data issues to the relevant team for resolution, and Identify development needs and opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions
- facilitate organization’s staff in using quality data for decision making
- Any other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications/Requirements
- University Degree in Information Technology, information management, statistics and related field
- Good knowledge in data management
- Having basic knowledge of macadamia value chain
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to be based in assigned remote locations and to spend significant time in rural areas
- Computer literate with good command of microsoft office
- Ability to communicate in english will be a strong point
- Must be below 35 years old
